Twitter was once a breading ground for 3rd party applications and add-ons but this year it seems Twitter is going through some changes that may kick popular services like TweetMeme to the curb in favor of it’s own features. Twitter recently announced on it’s blog, a retweet button of it’s own. This retweet button can be added to websites and blogs the same way TweetMeme’s retweet button can the, only issue now.. It doesn’t seem to recognize urls of posts, only the actual page it’s displayed on. This creates an issue to many bloggers on Wordpress and other platforms as posts are displayed on the homepage and category pages.
We all have hobbies, things we like to do in our spare time that make us happy. What happens when doing something you used to do for fun changes into a way of making money, a business? Well it really depends on whether you keep that love for what you are doing and maintain a steady stream of income from it, content with that as it is or it becomes about the money and no longer about the hobby.
Lets say there is a young woman that begins painting pictures. She was inspired by the class she took and wanted to explore the art. As she painted more and more, she began to dive deeper, going to art exhibits whenever time would allow. A art dealer picks up on some of her work and offers to buy a couple pieces. What would you do in her situation? Of course, sell the pictures, especially if you needed the money.
Bestrooftalkever.com recently published a nice article that offers up some tips and tricks when using Tumblr. Some of these i hadn’t known or just didn’t realize myself. Give them a look, i’m sure you’ll find something that interests you.
Copy some album art to your clipboard, in iTunes, right-click on your song, go to “Get Info,” go to the Artwork tab and command+v your art into that box. This will embed the art into the mp3 meta tags, not just into the itunes library information (which is what happens when you drag art into the album art display box in the main window).

This is a response to Sire’s recent post, Sharing Something Unique About Where You Live. After reading the post i was encouraged to really think about my city and how it stands out from the rest. I live in San Bernardino California, right in the heart of the valley area, called the Inland Empire. To help you gain perspective, it’s about 60 miles or a little over an hour away from Los Angeles.
As with all cities, it has it’s share of attractions and events put on by the city event members in an effort to bring more tourists and residents into the city. The famous Route 66 in California runs through SB and we often get large motorcycle gangs that ride through. Once a year SB holds an event right in downtown San Bernardino called the Route 66 Rendezvous where hot rods and antique vehicles in general that have been remodeled are shown off and awards are given out. It’s a lot of fun and the cars look amazing.
